Composer and trumpeter Hans Peter Salentin unveils his latest musical endeavor, „Always Coming Back,“ marking a significant addition to his prolific repertoire.

Esteemed pianist Hans FĂĽcker, based in Portugal, collaborates with Salentin once again, lending his expertise to infuse the recordings with rich piano and synth textures recorded in Lisbon.
Building on the foundation of past successes, Salentin partners with longstanding collaborator Hans Jörg Scheffler, underscoring the adage
„Never change a winning team.“
The ,,Salentin & Scheffler“ axis, renowned for their synergy, has yielded ten previous albums, establishing a legacy of musical excellence.
With Scheffler’s adept production touch, both „Nothing But Happiness“ and

2024-Willkommen. 2023 war mich mich ein schweres Jahr und ich habe daraus persönliche Konsequenzen gezogen. Ich bin sehr froh, das ich diese Konsequenzen selber ziehen konnte und nicht von auĂźen aufgezwungen wurde, wie so vieles andere, was sich letztes Jahr abgespielt hat. Der Ukraine Krieg der Russen geht weiter und die Hamas hat den Terror nach Israel und nach Gaza gebracht.- In beiden Fällen stehe ich uneingeschränkt auf der Seite der Ukrainer und der Israelis. NatĂĽrlich hoffe , wĂĽnsche und bete ich das beide Kriege beendet werden , aber das bleiben erstmal Hoffnungen. FĂĽr mich selber wĂĽnsche ich , das es mir bald wieder möglich wird, in beide Länder zu reisen und dort das zu tun , was meine Kernkompetenz ist : gute ( sehr gute )Musik mit guten ( sehr guten ) Musikern zu spielen und zu vermitteln. Mit Freunden halt Dazu geht es morgen fĂĽr 3 Konzerte nach Polen zu Julia Sawicka und wir verlängern , aus meiner Sicht , Weihnachten mit Christmas chorals. Ich freu mich, eher weniger auf die FlĂĽge-wenig Zeit dazwischen und es wird stressig.Wenn das mein einziges Problem ist, bekomme ich das hin……hoiffentlich. In 2024 möcht ich gerne wieder mehr spielen, wer möchte das nicht, aber in Deutschland wird es schwieriger und das nicht erst seit dem letzten Jahr. Schau’n wir mal. Ansonsten hatte ich letztes Jahr mit den gleichen Problemen zu kämpfen wie alle , Inflation ( auch wenn die sinken soll , so sind doch die Preise stabil auf recht hohem Niveau), Stromkosten, Staus, nicht funktionierende Bahn, Handwerker , die einfach nicht kommen ( neue Heizung seit 1 Jahr bestellt und es tut sich nichts) , daneben natĂĽrlich normale Probleme…trotz all der Probleme, habe ich im privaten Bereich keine größeren Katastrophen erlebt. Das ist bei einigen meiner Freunde anders und ich möchte allen viel viel Kraft fĂĽr 2024 wĂĽnschen und wir haben vieles nicht in der Hand. Also zurĂĽck zu dem , was ich tun kann und möchte. Jeder Tag zählt , genausso wie ,,each note matters “ Marek Napierkowski Zitat. Darum nehme ich erstmal die Herausforderung des heutigen Tages als Geschenk ( der Buddha in mir spricht ..LOL ) und fange gleich damit an : ĂĽben ! Danke an viele Menschen , die ich 2023 gesehen habe und ohne die das Jahr nicht das gleiche gewesen wäre. Danke auch an meine Studenten und Freunde aus Israel. Ihr zeigt die Power , die es in einer solchen Situation braucht und macht weiter. Ich freu mich auf ein Wiedersehen in 2024. Fragt man mich nach beeindruckenden Erlebnissen in 2023 so möchte ich zwei herausheben. Es war das einwöchige Treffen mit Denis Addu in Leszno -Polen. Es ist ein GlĂĽck mit so einem Musiker und dann auch noch Trompeter eine so gute Zeit zu haben. Ich werde seinen Weg weiter verfolgen , freue mich auf weiter Treffen, wo auch immer und dazu gehört auch der niederländische Trompeter Rick Mol ( check him out guys ) So happy new year und es wird so gut wie das, was wir daraus machen .
